Eight people were arrested in the Rijnmond on Tuesday and Wednesday who were on port sites. The Seaport Police thinks they wanted to get cocaine out of containers there. On Tuesday evening, Customs detained six collectors at a terminal on the Maasvlakte. They were hidden in a container.
They are men aged 17 to 28 from Rotterdam, Capelle aan den IJssel, Barendrecht and Amsterdam.
And in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, two more were arrested on a harbor site at the Waalhaven. Customs also handed over these men to the Seaport Police. The suspects are two men aged 19 and 33 from Barendrecht and Albania.
It is a crime to be unauthorized on a port site.
