Emmen – During a raid on a building on Boslaan in Emmen, the police rolled up a synthetic drug lab on Wednesday afternoon, March 8. Two persons have been arrested. It concerns a 57-year-old man from Emmen and a 58-year-old man from Tilburg.

The police discovered the lab in the Emmerschans district during an ongoing police investigation in the Zeeland-West Brabant Unit. The track ended at the building on the Boslaan. The two suspects could be arrested red-handed here on suspicion of the production of synthetic drugs and preparatory acts for the production of synthetic drugs.

The items present have been examined by the National Dismantling Facility (LFO) of the police, have been removed and are being destroyed.

Organized crime
The production and trade of synthetic drugs, like money laundering, fall under subversive crime. Criminals use legal companies and services for illegal activities. Tackling undermining has great urgency for the police and the Public Prosecution Service. Subversive crime creates unsafe situations and disrupts society.
