Presenter and model Sylvie Meis (44) and artist Niclas Castello (44) wanted to share their lives with each other. But less than three years after their yes, the couple is further away from their dream than ever: they are getting a divorce. They spent the turn of the year together in the Maldives. After that, the two were never seen together again. “It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we have decided together to separate,” Sylvie and Niclas confirm exclusively to the German BILD. “We look back on very good times, but we have to recognize that our life situations are too different for a future together.”

And it started so beautifully at the wedding, more than 2.5 years ago. After saying yes, Sylvie picked up a microphone and made a declaration of love to her husband in German: “When I first looked into your eyes on this magical night in Venice, I knew that what we are going to have is infinitely connected will be. I am so proud to call you my husband from today. I promise you that I will be the best wife anyone could ask for.”
