Leiden – In the investigation into the death of a 30-year-old woman from Leiden, a 37-year-old Leiden resident was arrested as a suspect on Wednesday, February 7. The criminal investigation continues unabated.

Emergency services were sent to Lepelaarsoord in Leiden on Monday, January 29, due to a medical emergency. The 30-year-old resident of the house was transported to hospital in a serious condition and died there on Tuesday, January 30. Due to the circumstances in which the woman was found, a criminal investigation was immediately started to determine the circumstances.

In connection with the investigation into the circumstances, the police arrested a 37-year-old Leiden resident for questioning on Wednesday, February 7. The arrested suspect is the ex-partner of the deceased woman. He is being interrogated by the police. The investigation into the circumstances under which the woman died is still in full swing.
