One person was killed and two injured in a stabbing during a festival on the Donauweg in Amsterdam-Sloterdijk on Sunday evening. Two men suspected of involvement in the incident have been arrested on site.

The stabbing took place around 9:20 pm during an argument at the Solid Grooves festival. The three victims were rushed to hospital. One of them, a 21-year-old man from Diemen, was resuscitated but died in hospital from his injuries.
Suspects
The other two victims, a 22-year-old man from Nieuwegein and a 24-year-old man from Amsterdam, are not in danger of life. On and around the festival grounds, officers were able to arrest two 20-year-old Amsterdammers based on witness statements. They have been detained for further investigation.
