At the presentation of the Edisons Pop 2024, the dress code was: black tie intense emotional extravaganza. Fashion designer Jaap Rijnbende assesses for Party whether the stars have adhered to the dress code.
“A super beautiful dress by singer Davina Michelle. What she wears is truly gala and extravaganza. It just looks like the dress has sagged a bit, because if you consider that her bust has to fill the front of the dress, Davina has a very strange, long bust, haha. She opts for few details. Davina put on a simple necklace and some rings. She painted the nails on her toes white, but I made them silver just like the dress. The white nail polish now makes her toes very noticeable. They attract a bit too much attention, especially on the black carpet. I have to get used to her brown hair color instead of her blonde hair, but that is purely a personal opinion. The combination of what Davina looks like, with the dress and the shoes, is complete. It would have been even nicer if she had chosen silver or black shoes, but at least Davina did her best.”
