Are you a database administrator who likes to work in an environment where collaboration is paramount? Do you have affinity and/or knowledge and experience with managing complex IT systems? And do you want to use it for the Department of Nature and Technology of the Municipality of Groningen? Then we are looking for you! For the municipality of Groningen we are looking for a database administrator for 40 hours a week. You will work in a team of 5 employees where the atmosphere is always good. A one-year contract is offered through Randstad with a chance of a contract with the municipality of Groningen.
Hourly wage from €14.46 to €21.16

You would like to work in the ICT field or you already have experience in this field. It helps if you already have experience working with databases. Do you have no experience yet, but do you have an education in ICT? Even then you are suitable! Finally, you enjoy working in an informal atmosphere. We ask:
A completed education at MBO 4 level; Affinity, experience and/or knowledge of database; Willingness to follow professional training courses; Knowledge and experience with Microstation is a plus.
As a database administrator you are responsible for the management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the Nature and Technology department. You ensure that the systems and applications function excellently and that users can work quickly and efficiently. You are also responsible for managing the servers, networks and the telephony environment. You work together with colleagues from the Nature and Technology department and other IT teams within the municipality of Groningen. To ensure that the IT infrastructure remains up-to-date and meets the requirements. Finally, you anticipate problems and actively contribute solutions.
The City Management Directorate plays an important role in the management and maintenance of public space in the city. This is aimed at a pleasant and sustainable living environment that is clean, whole, safe and accessible. The Technology and Nature Department is responsible for the management and maintenance of technical (complicated) objects. This includes sewerage, cables and pipes, trees, lighting, greenery, (civil) engineering structures and roads. There is an informal atmosphere within our team, and we present ourselves as a professional sparring partner to the outside world.
