This internship position is open to BSc and MSc students who are enrolled in an Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science degree with strong focus on statistics/modeling or equivalent and are looking for an internship as a part of their degree.Your role in the project will be based on your level of experience. Outstanding students from different backgrounds will also be considered. We expect you to work within our Johnson &Johnson credo, therefore collaborating and supporting each other. You should be able to manage your own work within our leadership imperatives “lead, shape, connect & deliver”.

The Intern will utilize analytic skills to develop Multivariate Analysis (MVA) models and assist our operations department in taking data driven decision with the aim of avoiding process deficiencies and enable process optimization. This project will guarantee exposure to different branches of our organization with the suitable candidate being responsible of delivering conclusions and recommendations supported by model results. Since this role needs a collaborative effort, change management and collaboration skills will be required. You will join a dedicated, internationally oriented and highly skilled Process Analytics MSAT team. The goal of our global team is to deliver analytical capabilities to the business, fueled by our data assets and cutting-edge technologies. The team has data analysts, scientists, and engineers working closely together with all our stakeholders. Our members contribute to various analytical projects and support our users with useful insights and the business with a comprehensive analysis.

Apply your analytical skills to build and engineer the best datasets for model development using a variety of software applications; Develop from scratch models for monitoring (and eventually forecasting) the Leiden site production process; Using Data Science and models’ analysis to suggest potential opportunities for gaps and improvements; Understand how to best scale different process variables in a multivariate model. Write model or script to automatically optimize the scale/modifier variables up or down relative to their weight and replace a lot of manual work.
