The Schiphol residents’ contact point is the information platform about air traffic for the Schiphol area and for reporting nuisance caused by air traffic around Schiphol. As a result, you are constantly processing data and you must therefore be able to work accurately.

HBO working and thinking level; Communicative; Experience with: Reg SQL, Indesign, office package, JavaScript, Qgis and Html; Affinity or experience with the aviation sector;

Every day, many data requests are received by the residents’ contact point about air traffic to and from Schiphol. As a data analyst you are responsible for the daily processing of information requests and reporting reports about air traffic.

You handle requests, questions and notifications received by email, telephone and via the registration system and ensure correct input for various reports; You work closely with employees of Schiphol and Air Traffic Control the Netherlands and the communications employees of BAS; You carry out work for the business process or parts thereof; You communicate the data to internal/or external stakeholders. You document and archive information, you keep files up to date and you monitor quality; You identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes; You translate data into information that others can use;

Since June 1, 2007, BAS has been the information platform and reporting desk for local residents about Schiphol air traffic. The foundation receives up-to-date information about air traffic and runway use from Schiphol and Air Traffic Control, making it an important hub in the provision of information to local residents. BAS proactively provides the Schiphol area with relevant information on topics such as current use of the runways and runways, flight routes, runway maintenance and relevant laws and regulations. BAS also registers nuisance reports from local residents.
