Data analyst – IT job vacancy in Netherlands

As a Data Analyst you are responsible for thoroughly analyzing all logistics processes of this employer. You will be working at a port company, where the daily progress of all activities at the terminal must be monitored. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive and solution-oriented. You excel in communication, have a strong sense of responsibility and are results-oriented. In addition, you have strong analytical skills.

A completed HBO education, preferably in economics, business administration or similar; Excellent skills in Excel; Experience with Power BI is an advantage; Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.

As a Data Analyst you report to the Head of Business Control. You play a crucial role in coordinating and providing feedback on daily progress reports at terminal level. In addition, you monitor and analyze productivity by preparing reports. Here is a task overview:

Analyzing operational processes to identify improvements; Developing and coordinating improvement proposals in collaboration with the Head of Business Control; Active participation in strategic projects; Drawing up efficiency and productivity models; Answering ad hoc questions; Annually updating the cost price model.
