Are you an experienced IT professional who is ready for a new challenge or are you an enthusiastic (prospective) IT professional with perhaps not yet the right education or experience? We are looking for a new data analyst for the I&A team 36 hours a week. In your role as a data analyst, you are an important link between the management dashboards, the data collections in which work is done and the four organizations: Duo+ and the three municipalities: Diemen, Uithoorn and Ouder Amstel, for which Duo+ carries out work.

Your work

The data analyst position is partly still being developed by the I&A team and will be further filled in in the data cluster. The most important activities as a data analyst are in any case:

  • You are a data broker of data: you collect the question from the clients and translate it into the datasets needed to answer the question. In collaboration with an external party, you create dashboards;
  • You are involved in the implementation of (complex) data collection, data enrichment and data preparation processes;
  • You enjoy working with data, discovering, cleaning and enriching structures;
  • You work together with the Cognos administrator to develop reports and dashboards.

Duo+ offers you challenging work where your independence and customer orientation are appreciated. The work is valued at scale level 10 of the Collective Labor Agreement for Municipalities: a maximum of €4,671 gross per month for a full-time working week (36 hours). A starting scale may apply if you have less relevant knowledge/experience and if we are going to train you for this position.

  • A contract for one year which will be converted to a permanent contract when functioning properly;

You bring this

You are enthusiastic, creative, a real data thinker, result-oriented and communicative. You can easily switch with various users in the organization. In addition, you are:

  • Or an experienced IT professional with strong analytical skills, where experience with data-driven working and solid SQL knowledge is an advantage;
  • Or you are an enthusiastic (prospective) IT professional who really wants to do this work with an HBO diploma (Information Management) in your pocket. Then we are happy to train you for this position.

Duo+ has been the executive organization of and for Ouder-Amstel, Diemen and Uithoorn since January 2016. Most of the nearly 300 employees previously worked for one of those three municipalities.
