The police in Amsterdam are investigating an explosion and vandalism at a porch house on Louis Couperusstraat in Amsterdam-Slotermeer (see photo below). Passers-by reported the damage to the building on Wednesday morning.
Euro sign
The building has been defaced with a euro sign and a clock. According to the police, the matter was reported around 9 a.m. No one was injured.
Some cars were also damaged.
Police say witnesses stated they heard a bang around 2:30 am.
Nieuw-Vennep
A house on Marketentster in Nieuw-Vennep was also seriously damaged by an explosion on Wednesday night. No one was injured.
The suspect probably ran from the Marketentster towards the Turfsteker.
It concerns a slender man between 1.60 and 1.80 meters tall.
