The Hague – The police would like to get in touch with a young cyclist who was involved in an accident with a moped at the intersection of Laan van Meerdervoort and Frambozenstraat on Thursday afternoon, March 7. The 87-year-old man on the moped died a week after the collision as a result of the traffic accident.
The accident took place around 3:50 p.m. when the cyclist was riding on the cycle path and the moped rider wanted to overtake him near the intersection of Laan van Meerdervoort and Frambozenstraat. The two came into contact with each other and both people fell to the ground. The cyclist cycled away after some time. No information is known about this cyclist and that is why we would like to get in touch with him to hear him as a person involved.
