Customs intercepted 104 kilos of cannabis at Schiphol Airport on Monday, April 1. The party was hidden in two works of art, in the shape of Rubik’s cubes. The soft drugs were transferred to the Cargo HARC team Schiphol and destroyed.
Fire brigade
During an inspection of the cargo of a plane coming from San Francisco, customs officers found two metal cubes. Because the objects were welded shut, they had to be opened with heavy equipment from the fire brigade. After breaking it open, it turned out that the contents consisted of packages of cannabis.
The news was announced by Customs on Thursday. It turns out it’s not an April Fool’s joke.
