After Code van Coppens, Staf and Mathias Coppens go a step further in the new SBS6 program The Big Bang. They allow celebrities into the Coppens universe in duos and take them there with great pleasure. The brothers came up with a multitude of grandiose games full of next-level obstacles and teasing with one main theme: popping balloons. Three well-known duos compete against each other in this crazy world with one ultimate goal: to pop a mega balloon the fastest. The team that succeeds wins The Big Bang and goes home not only with eternal fame, but also with a year of free air for all its Big Bang parties. The Big Bang can be seen weekly on SBS6 from Thursday 14 September at 8.30 pm.
In Code van Coppens they were still subjected to experiments and mysteries, in The Big Bang the celebrity couples are presented with curious games. And what for! Full of adrenaline, they compete with other duos. Racing in a go-kart, sitting on an electric chair, sliding down a staircase and shooting with a crossbow, they are pushed to their limits. Whoever thinks that he will get out of this unscathed … is very wrong!
In the first episode we see Leo Alkemade and Dennis Weening in action. They will compete against Samantha Steenwijk and Chatilla van Grinsven, and Tooske and Bastiaan Ragas. A week later it is the turn of the duos Ruben van der Meer-Horace Cohen, Pim Muda-Anne-Marie Jung and Rutger van Barneveld-René le Blanc. Later in the season we see Dave and Donny Roelvink, Gers Pardoel and Klaasje Meijer, and Natasja and Natascha Froger, among others.
