The singer became known in the Netherlands for his participation in the fifth season of the television program The voice of Holland, where he reached the semi-finals. In 2019 he won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Arcade, which he wrote and composed himself. He is currently taking part in ‘Beste Zangers’, but his personality does not enthuse everyone. A number of artists have completely had it with him.
