The police arrested a 38-year-old man from Hoogvliet on Sunday evening on suspicion of involvement in a shooting in Schiedam. It is alleged that shots were fired from a car at four people in Daltonstraat. No one was injured.

Just after 9:10 p.m., the police received a report that shots may have been fired from a black car in Daltonstraat. When officers arrived, they found no shell casings. Local residents said that there was also a disagreement earlier that day during which a stone was thrown through a window. Whether these two incidents are related is being investigated, the police reported on Monday.
Based on a description, the police managed to arrest a 38-year-old man from Hoogvliet Rotterdam on Sunday evening. His role and involvement in (one of) these incidents is being investigated. The police are looking for witnesses and have not ruled out more arrests.
