Bulge in the pants leads to coke seizure across the German-NL border

German and Dutch agents arrested a 27-year-old German on Friday evening who wanted to smuggle approximately 100 grams of cocaine across the German-Dutch border in his underpants.

Check

Just after 6:30 PM, members of the Cross-Border Police Team (GPT) checked a car with two people inside at the exit of the Bunde-West highway, near Bad Nieuweschans (Groningen). The vehicle had entered the Netherlands via Autobahn 280.

Unnatural bulge

During the check, officers noticed an obvious unnatural bulge in the crotch area of one of the occupants. In his underpants, officers then discovered a bag containing approximately 100 grams of cocaine worth around 8,000 euros. In addition, approximately six grams of MDMA were found in the man.

The German has been arrested for drug smuggling and criminal proceedings have been initiated against the 27-year-old for violating the Narcotics Act.
