Brian’s drug line tackled

The Hague/Rijswijk – The police arrested five suspects at the end of October on suspicion of drug trafficking. This has dealt with the Brian drug line, which most likely consisted of more than 100 transactions per day and approximately 15 couriers. Contact persons who had contact with the deal telephone in recent months have received a text message from the police.

The police started an investigation in June last year after receiving information about possible trafficking in The Hague and surrounding areas. This led to the arrest of the five suspects (aged between 22 and 37 from The Hague and Rijswijk), of which 3 suspects are currently still in custody.

TEXT MESSAGE

Nearly 900 people received a text message from the police this week. Their telephone numbers appear in a seized telephone that was only used for drug trafficking. The police took this opportunity to inform the contacts found by text message about the negative health risks of drug use and to point out the extreme social consequences of drugs on our quality of life, safety and the environment.
