The ended collaboration with André Hazes jr. is a closed chapter for Bram Koning. With ‘The Nix Factor’, the producer once again looks to the future. Bram believes in the new SBS6 program, he tells Party. “Let’s be honest: there are a lot of artists who have hits
but are very mediocre singers.”

But it can also be the other way around. Dries Roelvink once said about you: “Bram Koning is a strong composer and one of my best friends. He often makes too beautiful songs for the wrong artists.” Do you understand what he means by that? “I’ve heard that often. But yes, if someone comes to me who has talent and wants to be serious about his profession, then I will commit myself to that.”

Tino Martin or Gerard Joling

I think it’s been ten or thirteen years since I made a song for starting artist Ernest Van Hartingsveldt called ‘Hoe Kan Ik Van Je Houden’. ‘How can you write that for that boy? You should have given it to me’, some famous artists said to me. That’s a bit on my butt, haha. In retrospect I sometimes think about a song: geezmina, if only Tino Martin had recorded this or Gerard Joling.”
