Boy (16) robbed and abused in Oosterhout

Oosterhout – A 16-year-old boy was robbed and abused by three boys in the Slotbossetorenpark on Saturday evening, November 4, around 8:30 PM. After the perpetrators destroyed the victim’s bicycle, assaulted him and took his shoes and phone, they fled. It was striking that one of the perpetrators filmed the entire incident. The police are investigating and looking for witnesses.

The victim is sitting on a bench in the park around 8:30 p.m. Suddenly three boys walk towards him. He estimates them to be between 16 and 18 years old. One of them wears a red coat, the other two wear a black coat. Furthermore, they all wear dark clothing. The three speak to the boy in accent-free Dutch and force him to walk along. If he doesn’t do this, they threaten to beat him up. At the Slotbosse Tower, the perpetrators loosen the front wheel of his bicycle and throw it away. While the victim is terrified, they force him to empty his pockets. They then take his phone away. The perpetrators then force him to take off his shoes. These are shoes from the ‘Yeezy’ brand. They also take that with them. Meanwhile, the victim receives several blows to the face. While the three flee with their loot, the victim heads home with head injuries, a destroyed bicycle and no shoes. This is where the police are called.
