We are looking for a BI employee for a great company in Nijmegen. You will work at a company that focuses on sales and distribution of software, gaming and lifestyle products to almost all resellers in the Benelux. As a BI employee, you are responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring data quality as part of this team. . The salary is between €3,000 and €3,500 gross per month based on a full-time job. You will be employed directly by the client.

A strong affinity with ICT

We are looking for someone who has a strong affinity with ICT. You have completed your studies in Data Science, Computer Science or (Technical) Business Administration and have knowledge of several programs such as Python, Power BI and Qlik Sense. Do you not fully meet the conditions, but do you think you sufficiently meet the wishes of our customer? We would also like to have a conversation to see if it is a good match!

A completed HBO education, preferably in the field of Data Science, Computer Science or (Technical) Business Administration; A critical, but pragmatic working attitude: you want to help us take the next step in our data maturity, but understand that in the meantime everything has to keep running; A strong affinity with ICT; Excellent command of Excel; Knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Python or similar; Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.

Then you naturally wonder, what am I going to do as a BI employee? Well you are responsible for quite a number of tasks. Developing and improving the data is a continuous process around which our customers want to build a team. As part of this team, you as a BI employee are responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring data quality and are the primary point of contact for all matters relating to this.

Develop and implement data quality standards, policies and procedures; Developing methods to guarantee data quality better and faster. For example, consider developing automatic controls; Helping develop and implement projects that directly or indirectly relate to data quality; Onboarding and offboarding relationships with regard to internal and external connections; Communicate and collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure data input and output meets required standards; Create and maintain documentation related to data management processes and procedures; Coordinating and carrying out checks on our various datasets and reports, both for internal and external use. This also includes training colleagues in carrying out these checks; Resolving and processing data-related problems and escalations.
