Rotterdam – A 19-year-old Rotterdam resident was arrested on Sunday afternoon, March 31. The man is suspected of being involved in a shooting incident on Aegidiusstraat in Rotterdam, in which a 22-year-old man from The Hague died.
This afternoon the man reported to the police station on Overkampweg in Dordrecht. He indicated that he had been involved in the shooting incident and was therefore immediately arrested. He is currently in restriction. This means that he may only have contact with his lawyer. The man will be arraigned on Wednesday.

A TGO (Large-Scale Investigation Team) has been started to determine the circumstances of the shooting incident. This means that at least 20 detectives are working on the investigation. Even after this arrest, the investigation continues tirelessly and further arrests cannot be ruled out.
