Janny van der Heijden and André van Duin have just recorded a new series of episodes of ‘Thinking of Holland’ in Switzerland together. They drove Swiss trains through the mountains and ate Swiss cheese here and there. Did something go wrong during the train journey through Switzerland or did André manage to keep everything on the right track? André smiles subtly at the pun and tells us: “There was far too little snow, which was a pity for the recordings. It didn’t start snowing until the day we left. We’ve been a bit unlucky in that regard. But looking back at the recordings, we have of course filmed some very nice things. We met and visited all kinds of interesting people and a lot of things happened that are fun to look back on.” Then Andrés partner Fernando Reyes intervenes: “You missed the train on the last day, haha. But that didn’t matter, you got to your destination in a different way. But on the last evening I missed a train, I had to laugh about that.”
