André van Duin is waiting for exciting animal videos…

Last August, Omroep MAX boss Jan Slagter announced that André van Duin was working on new episodes of ‘Animal Crackers’, the program that was first broadcast in 1988 and in which animals experience all kinds of funny things because André lends his voice to it. When Party asks André six months later about the status of the comeback of ‘Animal Crackers’, he says that no broadcast date has yet been announced. “No, it is quite difficult to find nice animal videos.” It appears that contact was made with the BBC to get things moving. André: “If that comes together, we can start making ‘Animal Crackers’. The BBC has a huge arsenal of nature films, of animals in the wild. The choice is then enormous. When you film in a zoo, you just have to wait and see what happens. Those animals don’t do much in the zoo, they sleep a little and eat something.”
