As a functional application manager, you and colleagues are responsible for functional management of all packages in the social domain. You act as an intermediary between users and suppliers, ensure technical security and authorizations and you design, maintain and monitor the connections between systems and applications. You advise on adjustments and extensions of applications and application chains, and you provide technical solutions together with your other colleagues from I&A.
You are responsible for user support (you take care of installations and implementations, write and maintain procedures and instructions and provide support for complex problems to various users in the organizations). You also translate user wishes into new solutions. You keep an eye on developments in your field so that you are able to translate these developments into the wishes and needs of users and into design and application in the application.
You participate in projects. Maintaining and developing management documentation is also one of your many tasks. A customer-oriented, service-oriented attitude is therefore a must!
For this challenging job we are looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years of work experience as a functional manager
- HBO working and thinking level;
- Knowledge and experience with Suite4SD is an advantage;
- A ‘doing’ mindset;
- Solution-oriented, innovative, analytically strong and stress-resistant;
- You are enthusiastic, a go-getter and results-oriented and you connect easily with various users in the organizations;

Duo+ offers you a challenging job where independence and customer focus are valued. The position has been provisionally valued indicatively at scale level 9 (minimum €3,167 and maximum €4,537 gross per month for 36 hours per week). In addition, Duo+ offers you a modern package of secondary employment conditions where you can use 17.05% of your salary as an Individual Choice Budget (IKB). Your location is Diemen. The position is temporary for a period of one year with the intention of permanent employment.
Since January 1, 2016, Duo+ has been the implementation organization of and for Ouder-Amstel, Diemen and Uithoorn. We work in 3 departments (12 teams in total) on individual and collective services, as well as on good and efficient business operations for our customers. About Team I&A
The Information and Automation (I&A) team has approximately 40 employees spread over the ICT Services & Support, Digital Working, Geo & Data Management and Projects clusters, as well as a number of staff positions. Together they provide the entire information provision for the partnership, such as system and network management, workplace management and support, functional management, first- and second-line support, data management, information security, etc. They also provide advice and (project) support. ICT in the various substantive domains.

Since January 2016, Duo+ has been the implementation organization of and for Ouder-Amstel, Diemen and Uithoorn. Most of the almost 300 employees previously worked for one of those three municipalities. We now work in 12 teams from three departments and spread across the three municipal buildings.
