Ajax is trying to tempt Arda Güler to transfer to Amsterdam. The Dutch top club is already having discussions with the entourage of Fenerbahçe’s eighteen-year-old top talent, sources report to VoetbalPrimeur.
The eighteen-year-old playmaker is himself enthusiastic about a possible transfer to Ajax, but the competition is fierce. He knows himself in the interest of several major clubs from Europe. For example, Spanish media already linked him to FC Barcelona, while Newcastle United from England would show interest.
Güler is having his big breakthrough at Fenerbahçe this season, although he is not always in the starting line-up. The attacking midfielder, who can also play as a right winger, has played fifteen matches in the Süper Lig so far and appeared six times at the kick-off. He was good for four goals and one assist.
Güler is still with Fenerbahçe until mid-2025. Technical manager Klaas-Jan Huntelaar of Ajax recently visited Turkey, where he watched several players.
