Roosendaal – The police arrested a 23-year-old suspect from Willemstad on Saturday evening, March 11, around 1:00 am in Badhuisstraat, who assaulted an ambulance brother and a police officer.
The suspect was believed to be under the influence. The moment ambulance staff wanted to treat him, he kicked the paramedic. Officers intervened and kept him under control. Still, he managed to spit in an officer’s face. In both cases it is about abuse. The suspect was arrested, but first went to the hospital for medical care.
