Most activists, 1539 people, were arrested for violating the Public Manifestations Act (WOM). However, according to the Public Prosecution Service (OM), this is a minor criminal offense. Insofar as the activists have otherwise behaved peacefully, the Public Prosecution Service sees no added value in criminal prosecution. Read the press release from the Public Prosecution Service here. 40 people have been arrested for other criminal offenses such as obstructing, blocking, vandalism and insult. One person was arrested for resisting arrest resulting in injury. Their cases are still under review.

Ten minors were among the 1579 detained activists. They traveled by bus with their parents or independently. As with the other arrested persons who were arrested for the WOM, their details were not registered and were immediately sent to them when they left the bus. Contact was made with the parents or carers and they were able to make use of the help offered. One of the minors was transferred to the main station with his parent. This parent belongs to the group of 40 people who have been arrested for other criminal offences.
