A 15-year-old Amsterdam boy has been arrested for the serious explosion that made a house on the Kormelinkweg in Amsterdam-Zuidoost uninhabitable last Saturday afternoon.
Shards of glass
The bang was around 3:30 in the afternoon and could be heard in a wide area. Police say it’s a miracle no one was injured. The impact sent shards of glass flying both on the street and in the house.
To give evidence
Partly due to information and recognition of witnesses in the area, a 15-year-old suspect was soon identified. This suspect was arrested on Monday.
The explosion was probably caused by a homemade, but heavy explosive.
